Personal opinion, not mod opinion:

Totally off topic but must be said:

Bad analogy. Clearly you've never known anyone who has had cancer or had it yourself. Believe me, 1 year ago yesterday, I might have said something inane like that. Two surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation later, I wouldn't say it in a million years. My child will probably be an orphan long before I'd like her to be (she's 3) and I can't tell you the anguish that this disease has brought to both our lives.

Think before you post such heartless things.

On topic:

The game will be just fine, at least through the next couple of chapters. Hopefully enough of the "suggestions" that people have made will be implemented to bring on a third and fourth installment. If not, I'll have gotten my money's worth.

There's a trick to Elona: the mobs only attack the guy carrying a crystal. Bring a warrior specced for defence, get him to carry, and as long as he doesn't drop the crystal but just takes the beatings, everyone else in the team will be free to nuke the monsters & heal the warrior completely unhindered. If you're anything but a primary mesmer you can probably do the carrying/tanking yourself, and let the henchmen do the killing & healing.

Looking forward to Oblivion, and if I spend anywhere near the time with that as I spent on Morrowind, that will pretty well cut me off of playing GW solo.
Heh... The reason I got GW was actually to tie me over until Oblivion was released. Who knows, perhaps the PvP'ers get their wish, and PvE dies when Oblivion is released?

Oblivion? Pfftt....it'll die when NWNII is released! That's what I'm waiting for with baited breath.

With regard to Oblivion, I read this on Gamespot's site lately and it doesn't bode well that the release date still just says "2005" and nothing more specific:

Congratulations to the trolls, you win this thread.
Blackace and Nuna, kindly do not address each other at all if you can't do so without fighting.

In case anyone's curious, it became more work than it's worth after deleting roughly the 10th post after another mod has already been through it, and the fires are still raging. References to deleted posts get deleted too, for future reference.
